South Florida Community and Corporate League

  • Regular Season (5 months) + Tournament (3 rounds)
  • Game Duration: 45 minutes per half. 10 minute half time break.
  • Referees only for the tournament (not regular season)

20 Weeks (Feb – June) —— Regular Season

Field: TBD

  • Fields will be allocated per captain.
  • Games will Thursday nights but Captains can decide to agree on any day or field for that week they have a game.

Cost: TBD

  • Cost per team to cover field reservations is 50-50 split.

Regular Season

  • Each team plays every team twice
  • Roughly two games per month (total of 5 months)

Game Format

  • 11 vs 11 – Full Field
  • Two 45 minute halves. 10 minute halftime break.

  2. Fiserv: Orange or Blue
  3. Stryker: White
  4. Tamarac Lions: Black/White
  5. City of Miramar: Green and Grey
  6. Tamarac Soccer: Red

Scoring

  • 3 points for Win, 1 point for Draw, 0 points for Loss

Schedule

  •  There will be regular scheduled (reserved field) matches. Like every other Thursday at 6pm for example. Games will be held one after the other. There will be away and home game

Rules

  • Failure to Arrive will result a lost of points resulting a zero
  • If less than 11 players on a team show up for a scheduled game, the team can choose to either forfeit or play with their current players at a disadvantage.

Penalties

  • 1 Red Card = Automatic 1 Game Suspension (out for the remainder of current game and out for all of the next game)
  • 4 Total Yellows = 1 Red Card
  • 2 Yellows in a Single Game = 1 Red Card
  • Offensive comments or racial slurs will result in a Red Card (Ref’s discretion)
  • Please respect the Ref

Determining Seeding for Tournament Phase

The following criteria will be applied in order (for tiebreakers) after the regular season ends to determine seeds

  1. Total Points (Win=3, Draw=1, Loss=0)
  2. Total Goal Differential
  3. Total Goals Scored
  4. Head to Head Result
  5. Drawing Lots (Random)

Tournament Phase

Single Elimination Bracket (2 rounds)

 The top 4 teams (based on points) will advance to the single elimination playoff bracket. #1 will play #4. #2 will play #3. Winners advance to Championship Match.
